Truck Driver &Operator

Swan Brothers has an opportunity for an adaptable Truck Driver/Operator to join their team.
This role is both customer and business focused. The three key responsibilities of the Operator will be to support our Spreading Services, Freight Services and Depot and Plant Services.
The opportunity
You will be accountable for:

Safely and efficiently operating spreading equipment

Competently operating spreaders, conveyors, tip trailers and front-end loaders
-
Consistently achieving spreading agreed KPI’s
-

Operating HC minimum trucks safely and efficiently
-
Competently operating trucks and tip trailers
-
Complying with NHVR and Swan Brothers process’

-
Cleaning and maintaining machinery to an agreed standard
-
Performing daily inspections and weekly maintenance, blowing out and greasing
-
Completion of maintenance records
-
Washing/scrubbing trucks and equipment, minimum weekly
-
Keeping workplace tidy

Performing General maintenance during seasonal breaks

Willingness to work within the Swan Group to help maintain machinery and infrastructure

This flexible, hands-on role supports all areas of our business, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service.

What You'll Be Doing:

Spreading Services – Apply fertiliser on farms, operate spreading equipment, and assist with transport and maintenance.

Depot Services – Operate loaders, forklifts, and blending equipment; maintain equipment and support customers at the depot.

Truck Driving – Cart grain, fertiliser, hay, and general freight across the region; load and unload safely.

Plant Services – Operate farm and earthmoving machinery as required by the season and business needs.
​

General Duties – Maintain a safe, clean workspace and assist with equipment checks and repairs.
